• ピッロ・リゴーリオ（Pirro Ligorio, c.a.1510-83）：ティヴォリのハドリアヌス帝のヴィラ発掘を手掛け、『ローマ古代遺跡の書（Il Libro delle antichita di Roma）』（1553）を著した「偉大なる空想家」。
